Can I use Lotrimin ultra cream for 4months old baby?

Can I use Lotrimin ultra cream for 4months old baby? She is little itchy rashes(?)-close to- on her forehead... Any other medicine I may use? I have been using Aveeno cream for sensitive skin. Those rashes come up and go. I don't know what causes this. Doctor just says she has little oily there so, it is just easy to break out...Can I use Lotrimin ultra cream for 4months old baby?
Lotrimin is an anti-fungal treatment. So unless it is a rash triggered by yeast (unlikely on the forehead) it won't do a thing for the rash. If the doctor approves try an ointment with hydrocortizone in it. Most rashes shouldn't really have any treatment unless it's bugging baby pretty bad. It's better to find the cause of the rash (oily/overly dry skin, soap/shampoo, lotion, laundry soap)Can I use Lotrimin ultra cream for 4months old baby?
Yes. We did this with our triplets when they were babies (around your child's age--may be younger).
http://www.medicinenet.com has full medicine info

I am hoping you can find your information here. But remember, If in doubt, don't.

My best,

Hope
I would not--is this the same stuff that you can use for Athlete's Foot? Why don't you take your baby to a dermatologist maybe they could give you more information .
